Service Description

In your first session, I will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you into treatment. I complete a formal, structured interview, but your intake with me will feel like a free-flowing conversation. I will ask questions about your presenting concerns, as well as your history and background. You will most likely, find yourself talking about your current symptoms, struggles, your relationships, your interests, your strengths, and your goals. More importantly, in your first session, we will begin to build rapport with each other so that you feel safe, accepted, respected, and comfortable during the session. Therapy is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make, so use your first session to assess whether or not my methods are right for you and matches your personality.
